Effects of NEDD4L inhibition or overexpression on ACE2 protein expression. NEDD4L siRNA (A-B) and NEDD4L-OE (C-D) were constructed and transfected into PASMCs to examine the expression of NEDD4L. Plasmid transfection was carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s protocol, and the protein expression of ACE2 (E, G) and NEDD4L (F, G), cell viability (H), and apoptosis (I-J) were evaluated. GAPDH was used as an internal reference for western blotting. N = 6, *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, **** P < 0.0001.
